RIELLI Ultraviolet Unit ensures sterilization of the water by means of UV rays it radiates in wavelength of 254 nanometers. It does not need any thermal or chemical processing. Piercing cell walls of the microorganisms by its ultraviolet rays, it fragments their DNA structure. This it has effect on the bacteria. In case of industrial applications, on the other hand, water correctly conditioned is used to extend service life of your heating equipment, achieving efficiency and improvement in quality for the washing, painting, etc. operations.

    Intended Use and Fields of Application

    Intended purpose of RIELLI Ultraviolet Equipment is microbiologic sterilization of the water. While use of ultraviolet equipment for microbiologic treatment is the most efficient and cost-effective solution, it is also very safe as it does not require a chemical dosing. It is preferable to have germ-free drinking water at houses, schools, hospitals and industry as well as in the beverage, wine and beer industry. Use of these units has special significance at the electronic, pharmaceutical, cosmetic and food industries and laboratories where it is not possible to add chlorine to the water.
